The Day started with open skies, no clouds, a hot monday. At 10:30 a Glider Aircraft make a fligth over the Pico do Gaviao. The task was decided and we had the briefing for a 50km task, passing over the Ibitiura City and goal at Santa Rita de Caldas, with a window opening at 12:30 Pm and the starting gate was opened at 13:00. Dispite of the NW wind, we just needed a few minuts and all the pilots was on the air. None of the pilots had reached the goal, but we had many pilots lading bettwen 4 to 10 km short from the goal line. We also have to mention , the organization's rescue that works perfectly, and all the pilots was on the HQ at 18:00 for the download.
